Why instructional design? Why e-learning management? Why learning design?

I enjoy learning, and I want others to enjoy the experience of learning just as much.

The challenge, then, is designing learning experiences that spark curiosity, sustain engagement, and support long-term retention.

In my experience as an undergraduate educator, a learner’s perception of a subject can be transformed through effective instructional design and a positive learning environment. When learners feel confident and engaged, they are more likely to retain knowledge and apply it meaningfully.

The projects in this portfolio highlight learner-centered design approaches that cultivate and sustain positive learning experiences while providing practical opportunities for application. Several projects focus on single-stream recycling, a topic I selected to explore how diverse audiences can learn, retain, and apply a skill that benefits both their communities and the environment.

Through thoughtful instructional design and interactive, engaging experiences, learning becomes meaningful, measurable, and impactful.

Effective problem-solving begins with effective instruction which leads to deeper understanding, lasting knowledge, and real-world application.
