Cerebration (words, thoughts)

Why indeed…let’s talk about it.

In this section I am proud to present exercises in the written word in which I have tried to capture thoughts, feelings, and that which I saw in my mind’s eye. Whether or not I was successful is for you to determine.

All writing samples featured in my portfolio are 100% my own. Selected samples were completed as a student or on speculation. The creative writing samples featured are copyrighted. Images used are credited to their respective sources.

Any errors or misspellings or grammatical oversights are mine. I did not use AI to generate the content featured in my writing portfolio.

All of the writing I do is meant to engage the reader’s imagination and tell a story with a beginning, middle, and end. And, hopefully, what I write is fun to read. I do not write with the intention to offend, malign, or marginalize. I do not feature any political opinions or conclusions in my writing portfolio, and only superficial elements of my personal life are included, as they are sometimes the wheels on which the narrative turns.

I prefer writing using a computer, as my handwriting is not very neat, but some handwritten items are definitely worth keeping.

This is a note I wrote to the future while visiting the Henry Ford Museum. I “mailed” it to the future in the mailbox in the exhibit, but not before I took a picture so I wouldn’t forget:
